2. Information collected automatically (e.g., IP address, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type, operating system, pages viewed, referring pages/links, actions on the Site, timestamps, and email engagement such as opens).
3. Information from other sources (e.g., publicly available sources, partners, service providers, or platforms that support our operations, in accordance with applicable law).

Financial data. Online payments are processed by our payment processors; E4M does not store full credit-card numbers submitted via our Site.

• Directly from you: when you donate, purchase merchandise, subscribe to updates, sign a petition, sign up to volunteer or express interest in board service, submit forms, or contact us.
• Automatically: via cookies, pixels, and similar technologies when you browse our Site or interact with our emails.
• From third parties: service providers (e.g., payment processing, analytics, email delivery, CRM), coalition partners, fundraising platforms, social platforms, or publicly available sources, in compliance with law.

We partner with reputable vendors to store and process certain data (e.g., secure data platforms, donation processors). Those vendors process your data in accordance with their own privacy policies and contracts with us.

We use three types of cookies and similar technologies on the Site:

• Essential — required for core functionality (e.g., page navigation, form security). These cannot be switched off in our systems.
• Analytics — help us understand Site usage and improve performance (e.g., pages visited, time on page). You can opt out where required by using our cookie banner/manager or your browser settings.
• Advertising/Retargeting — used to deliver more relevant messages on our or others’ sites and measure campaign effectiveness. In jurisdictions that require it, we obtain your consent before setting these.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Personal Information collected through our Site, including encryption and reputable payment processors for online payments. No Internet transmission or storage system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain Personal Information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law (e.g., tax, accounting), to resolve disputes, and to enforce agreements. When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify information in a commercially reasonable manner.

We are based in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. and other countries with different data protection laws. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 16 without verified consent of a parent or legal guardian. If you believe we have collected such information without consent, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” signals. There is no common industry standard for responding to such signals; accordingly, our Site may not respond to them. You can manage cookies and advertising preferences as described above.

The Site may link to third-party websites or include social features (e.g., share buttons, embedded content). Your interactions with those features are governed by the third party’s terms and privacy policies. Review those policies before using their services.
