1 Personal Information Definition
“Personal Information” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. It does not include de-identified or aggregated information (so long as it cannot reasonably be linked back to an individual).
2 Information We Collect
We collect three broad categories of information:
- Information you provide directly (e.g., name, email, phone, mailing address, pronouns, social media URLs, professional details, donation/payment details, petition signatures, volunteer/board applications, survey responses, messages to us).
- Information collected automatically (e.g., IP address, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type, operating system, pages viewed, referring pages/links, actions on the Site, timestamps, and email engagement such as opens).
- Information from other sources (e.g., publicly available sources, partners, service providers, or platforms that support our operations, in accordance with applicable law).
Financial data. Online payments are processed by our payment processors; E4M does not store full credit-card numbers submitted via our Site.
3 How We Collect It
- Directly from you: when you donate, purchase merchandise, subscribe to updates, sign a petition, sign up to volunteer or express interest in board service, submit forms, or contact us.
- Automatically: via cookies, pixels, and similar technologies when you browse our Site or interact with our emails.
- From third parties: service providers (e.g., payment processing, analytics, email delivery, CRM), coalition partners, fundraising platforms, social platforms, or publicly available sources, in compliance with law.
We partner with reputable vendors to store and process certain data (e.g., secure data platforms, donation processors). Those vendors process your data in accordance with their own privacy policies and contracts with us.

6 Legal Bases (GDPR/UK GDPR & similar)
Where applicable (e.g., EEA, UK), we process Personal Information under these legal bases:
